Question:
What if I have difficulty getting treatment without personal health insurance?

Answer:
If you do not have health insurance or funds to receive proper care, and you and your attorney believe you have a premises liability claim, your attorney may assist by providing you with a letter of protection (LOP). The LOP basically shows that the attorney is promising to pay the medical provider once the settlement is received from a pending case, as long as there are sufficient funds received to do so. It is important to receive proper treatment as called for by your doctor, without any unexplained gaps that could unfavorably affect your claim. |
